Why Lawyers Should Never Run Your Business

It doesn't matter who you are. You could be Lance Armstrong, running a foundation for cancer survivers. The pack of lawyers will turn what was good people working for a good cause into a pathetic horde of money-lusting idiot f#cks.

Lance, please: put a stop to this travesty. This is disgusting.

In court documents filed in Texas on Tuesday, the foundation (LAF) alleges that the Oklahoma-based Animal Charity Collar Group stole the idea in producing yellow dog and cat collars embossed with the words "Barkstrong" and "Purrstrong."...

"Such confusion, mistake and deception are likely to cause irreparable harm to LAF," (the LAF added).

The foundation has sold some 65 million yellow "Livestrong" wristbands...

A number of things seriously piss me off about this development.

1. they are demanding money from what must be a "Thank god we are keeping our head above water" foundation at best (OH! POOR LANCE ARMSTRONG FOUNDATION!).

2. I'd expect more enlightened behavior from a foundation than say -- those scum suckers like the RIAA, and MPAA.

But this is what really irks me:

LAF is spending donations for Cancer survivers on what appears to be -- to put it mildy -- TRITE GREED. FEED YOUR MONKEY LAF!

I'm sorry, but I have no patience so called non-profits that pull this crap.

Next time you want to donate, I'd suggest donating to a foundation that has more important things to do than suing other non profits for using yellow wristbands for a totally unrelated cause.
